Villain is 20/17 over 900 hands. Call from SB is 7%. Fold to cbet 45% (turn 40%)

Is this a good turn to keep barreling or am I too optimistic.
He is probably not folding any PP still and I will have to bluff river to get him to fold. Am I wrong?

Is it best to realize our equity here? How about an overbet?

0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

BB: $11.23 (112.3 bb)
UTG: $10.90 (109 bb)
Hero (MP): $10 (100 bb)
CO: $19.55 (195.5 bb)
BTN: $10.15 (101.5 bb)
SB: $10.84 (108.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J♥ A♥
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.30, 2 folds, SB calls $0.25, BB folds

Flop: ($0.70) T♦ 2♦ 4♥ (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.40, SB calls $0.40

Turn: ($1.50) 5♥ (2 players)
SB checks, Hero ???

Pot sized or close to bet the turn

You have great equity vs a pocket with the fd and the two overs

Would also probably consider value bet an off suit jack otr

I´m not sure about flop cbet here especially if we don´t know if we want to double barel T when we hit FD.

As played turn bet should be OK, his PPs will be under pressure to call on such a wet board

I also do not see much folds on flop. Turn bet is ok.

what about vs the BB?

Even vs SB we do have two overs, BDFD & BDSD and I don't expect to get raised alot, just a board we a likely to be able to keep betting on - even though AJh could be a check back and call turn but think i prefer double barrell

I think our hand has enough equity to play passive OTF. Even if we expect wider range at BB I prefer x/b. We keep villain range wider for latest streets and by beting we are turning pretty good hand to bluff in my opinion.
When ranges are wide and people not folding, I like to play my big aces (mostly AK and AQ) x/b F, small bet T for thin value and free SD, x/b R

As I said earlier, nothing better is folding. I agree that xb is ok. If facing a x/r we should have to fold our equity in the hand. And this is no matter the position.

I think question is when we x/b F and villain lead T. I think we can call here on non diamond cards when villain often try to steal pot and give up R

ok so we can call on alot of turns which is good

In the SB i think calling range is normally tighter and PP heavy so i think a double barrell could be also an option but depends on opponents flatting range as we can also bet any heart and and overcard to the ten which is alot of barreling opportunities

Vs the BB I think it's probably right to check back but the problem I have vs aggressive players who don't just stab once and DB with all his air like KQ,KJ,A9,78 etc. This is good because we continue vs a dominated range but we still invest one street still to see a river with no fold equity and opportunity to be bluffed ourselves if they attack our checking. Maybe the times we get bluffed on the river outweighs the time we hit but I think in some spots we may need to call down with A high vs aggressive opponents and start checking back some pairs & better

what about if we have AJclubs?

I do not think we can call on a lot of turns... Hearts and broadways only. And not all broadways, imo.

if our plan is to fold the turn we should definitely bet the flop imo, feels way to weak to give up with so many backdoors

We should start betting if flop went x/x and he x again on the turn!

vs weak passive he's probably giving up when he checks turn but that's only part of the plan to bet if he checks - in this spot our decision to bet or check the flop we should probably consider

a) if he's likely to x/r and how we play vs that
b) if he's likely to bet the turn and how we play against that
c) if he's likely to x/f alot on the turn

As we don't know if he's going to bet or check, IMO with this hand our plan has to be cbet or check back and call a bet on any broadway and most non diamonds
