UTG raises to 2 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold

UTG wins 4.3 BB

I read the article "Entering an opened pot" and I was wondering if this situation is good for 3bet/fold. If I had 3bet, it cost more than 25% of effective stack. So, is it better push or fold? What do you think?

I think it´s true that you should play 3bet or fold in general with these stacks. I would just fold. Don´t expect big fold equity and our equity is pretty low.

I was talking about 3bet and fold to a 4bet (3bet/fold).

Oh, sorry I missunderstood it. Anyway I don´t like to 3bet and fold vs 4bet 12 bb effective.

You can’t 3bet/fold here with those stack sizes. I would always 3bet shove or fold here. In this situation it’s a clear fold against the UTG player. Also I’m wondering what kind of article it is. If it’s like a Big Stack Strategy (BSS) article it’s useless in spots like this. Than you can use it if you play 100+BB deep.

Cheers,
