I would fold preflop. I don´t think we need to defend so wide MP vs SB.

As played what was your plan on the flop?

OTT I would call and hope in pairing R. Villain probably doesn´t have many 4x, still can have quite a lot flushes.

By folding pre you save yourself the trouble postflop. 55 is too wide to defend from MP.
Postflop: you call preflop with the idea to hit a set, right? On flop you do not hit your set and villain bets. What shall we do here?

I didn't have one. I just thought that in position and 100BB stacks it was ok to defend 55. I'll fold small pairs more to 3bets in the future. Thanks!

You can call pre but when you are Deepstack.

+1 for folding pre , especially when villain so far is very aggresive in 3 bet pots

Shove as played. It's not that wet of a board because he only has a few realistic flush combos (AKcc - ATcc at a push) but AcKx etc won't fold.

Agree that folding pre is probably best, and you can just fold the flop in spite of the gutshot because Ax will shut down if you make a straight.

Even fish gets scary with 4-to-straight on the board.
