IPoker, $0.10/$0.20 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $25.01 (125.1 bb)
Hero (BB): $28.21 (141.1 bb)
UTG: $6.72 (33.6 bb)
MP: $20.42 (102.1 bb)
CO: $20 (100 bb)
BTN: $31.59 (158 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q Q
3 folds, BTN calls $0.20, SB folds, Hero raises to $1, BTN calls $0.80

Flop: ($2.10) 3 7 K (2 players)
Hero bets $1.40, BTN calls $1.40

Turn: ($4.90) T (2 players)
Hero bets $3, BTN calls $3

River: ($10.90) J (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $6.88, Hero folds

Preflop: Standard.

Flop: Not happy about the K, but I think it's better to cbet this board than check/call. He might have alot of worse hands calling and I don't want to give initiative away.

Turn: Here I'm not sure how to play it. I guess that check/folding would be too weak, but maybe wouldn't. Should I check/call?

River: Flushes came there, so I think it's the best to check/fold.

BTN: 24/18/33/0(1)/1,6/234 (VPIP/PFR/IP_FtFlopCB/IP_FtTurnCB(#ofOccassions)/AF/H)

Don't you think that the sizes postflop are a bit big so you do not give chance to weaker hands to continue.

if he limps the button for me it's "semi-tell" that he is passive, so what do you think about line: Flop: Check/call , if he checks back bet turn and check/decide river ?

When I isolate, I do it to 3BB + 1BB per limper when IP and 4BB + 1BB per limper when OOP because I have a stronger range when OOP and I don't really think that limpers give much attention to the sizes. If they want to call, they will call no matter the sizing (as long as you don't do it like 20BB.

I really don't know what would be the best line, but if we assume that he is passive, can we expect him to bet worse than TP on the flop? In addition, if he is passive, I could expect him to call worse rather than bet worse, imo.

Yea if he is passive and he bet the flop it's not a good sign, but from another side I think calling atleast once with QQ is sacrifice we must do, because folding here would be super weak play IMO, the only situation I might consider folding is when he do big sizing on the flop.

About isolating, someone wise told me once : " With strong hand isolate to the sizing which u think villain will call" so IMO you can iso even 10x if u think fish will call :)

Sorry, missread the "postflop" word.. I see nothing wrong with 60-70%. I would bet TP and better with the same sizing and I generally don't want to reveal the strenght of my hand with sizing (except vs confirmed fish).

I mean that board is dry and we can bet 50-60%.

Personally I prefer x/c flop because when we get called like here it´s difficult to play T for me. We should x/c here also some stronger hand to protect our checking range and not to be capped to 2nd pair-
