You cannot bet as villain donks. You can raise. We won't achieve much by raising.

I was just thinking if raising the turn avoids more costly mistakes by hero on the river. These spots come up from time to time. Sure, villain probably wouldn't continue on the turn with worse but if he 3bets the turn it's quite an easy fold. If he calls, it's probably a check-check on the river instead of facing that shove. So there might be some merit to raising the turn small, like 2,5 or max 3x?
Though it kinda commits us to the pot... If he still shoves though, easy fold. Maybe raising the turn turns our hand face up though. But I guess so does calling so what the hell ♦

Btw I think the flop bet is a bit small, even though it's not a super drawy texture but there are 2 players in the hand and hero so I'd make it bigger - about 11 or 12 bbs

I think we could raise the turn. If he checked, then we would bet like $2 for value, so why not to raise to something like $2,5 when we don't know what does his donkbet means. Often he is just trying to get to a cheap showdown. We might get calls from worse hands, like many pocket pairs. As played, I would also rather fold the river.
