PF standard. Flop, I hestitate whether to bet or x/r. I'm concerned that Villain might not bet a FD if I check to him here. Turn, I'm almost guaranteed to win. I check thinking that Villain might bet again, but on reflection I think I might get more value by a small bet (say 1/3 of the pot). Villain potentially completes a flush on the river. I think I should bet bigger here. Or should I check?

I think it is well played. Don't see villain calling a big bet, maybe a little bit bigger.

It was well played. When we hit nuts OTT I think we could bet there something like 1$ so FDs have odds to call. OTR I think overpairs and flushes will call slightly bigger bet but not much.

We miss value by not betting turn as there are cards that may stop the action on river and we still can extraxt value from draws on turn.

I would just bet T and then you can b around 70% of the pot or x/shove R

I think we should continue with our aggression on the turn. I don't see him betting anything when we check.

You miss a lot of value:

1) all the draws will not call river if they don't hit so make sure you bet the turn (dont bet too high - make sure they get a good price for drawing dead)
2) the river, is a good card as if they have the flush they rarely will be able to fold it, that's what you call a non elastic range. I overbet in this case

Hi there,

I think you could even lead on flop as this board often gets checked around.

As played, bet turn and overbet river - I think he is mostly on draws here, and we might miss a lot of value by not betting big. If not overbetting, 2/3 of pot.

The turn check is really bad, often you can only extract value on the turn when they are still drawing. You were lucky this time he completed his draw on the river and still got paid. Next time, bet turn and get paid, then get paid a bigger amount (due to pot geometry) on the flushes that get there and the ones that dont welll at least you charged them on the turn. GL

We should mostly bet our FD's in this situation when we decided to check/raise the flop. Nevertheless, even if we will sometimes check them, no need to balance our turn checking range.

The x on turn is a mistake here.
