Interesting spot vs. fishy player on an ugly board. What about shoving behind his raise on the turn?

PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (SB): $10.72
BB: $6.62 (VPIP: 42.86, PFR: 38.10, 3Bet Preflop: 40.00, Hands: 23)

Hero posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has K♦ A♥

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.25, BB calls $0.15

Turn: ($1.22, 2 players) 9♥

Against that player, I'm raising more pre and potting the flop.

Shoving turn is probably OK, he seems either fishy or aggro or both.

There's something stupidly sexy about Hero shoving river.

Disregarding that BB shoved after hero checks and probably has it, his value range is a lot of flopped flushes rather than KxQs etc. A river shove could definitely fold out hands like 89ss.

Against this guy it's probably bad, but still nice to muse upon.

I think you see a lot of A9 AT, AJ and AQ there with with the 9, T , J and Q of spade as well that he is never folding OTR

I'd actually only agree with A9 there; I doubt he raises turn with AJ or AT much. Either way I wasn't seriously suggesting it; it's just worth knowing as an option.

Nothing worse is shoving the river.

Well I couldn't shove the river and that would be... stupid indeed :)

Shoving river is infinitely better than check-calling.

Yeah I agree with this, and it's exactly what I was going to say. Shoving the turn is +EV against someone like this. You're going to see all sorts of AxXs KxXs, 6xXs type hands it will boggle your mind. If he flopped it, you can cry and go kick a pregnant cat.

On this Limits calling flop and raising Turn are more often the nuts than not. I would fold.
