Why do you call turn, when you make a solid bet on flop and get called?

I didn't want to believe he has a flush there and thought he might be betting his KK to protect from single heart hands.

Probably a good fold on river but I think I would have check raised turn, many villians will start betting with anything simply because you stopped betting there.

That is true but I don't know if floating is so common in 3bet pots.

mmm, hardly possible, as KK can 4 bet you preflop. And when you add that all his 1heart hands can xb and get a free card, you are facing strong hands mostly.

xr on turn is the fastest way to lose your money. Monoboards are not the kind of board any villain willl start shooting just like that.

Difficult board indeed. Although it is a legitimate consideration of wanting to be committed to the pot or not. Otherwise, an over-bet OTF is highly recommended on such coordinated board IMO.

Many times I come across to a C-bet of around 2/3 pot OTF. There are many other betting lines you can make. Even a x/r would balance your range more than bet/check/call in this situation since your Aces aren't weak so you are not playing unbalanced since you do not check a weak hand OTF. By choosing an unbalanced line like you did, villain is almost certain you will not have a since most of the time (sometimes up to 90% or more!) you check the turn with a weak pair or nothing compared to the board texture. However, by a x OTF with Aces you should do that more with stronger hands to keep your range balanced.

I would bet turn also. Because he might have one card flush draw or even some pocket pair. 77-88,JJ. And imo many player at least low stakes games bet the turn if board look like that and you are bet the flop and check the turn. If he raise the turn you fold and if he call see what happened in river. At least we now what our situation is.
But this is only my opinion.

interesting, you can argue for a lot of lines here... but i'm probably not folding in almost any of them. you don't block any of villain's bluff range, though T is a not very good card indeed

I think villain has some a couple of full houses, QQ/JJ (betting them is kind of thin), TX (not many due to preflop), X:heart:Y:heart: (very few small combos as they should have raised to avoid counterfeit), hands I dare not guess, and busted flush draws if competent. If he really can play he has plenty enough of bluffs because the board is sort of ideal (scary) for floating flop. If for no other reason,

OTR it is pretty obvious that I don't have a flush.

Whether you can check and call river is another matter, just saying that people should be bluffing.
