Hello! I am particularly interested in what you think about my turn decision, but if you disagree with anything else or have some other thoughts please share.
So, I am on the BU and CO opens for 3bb. From what I have on him he looks pretty tight, but I decide to call with my JTs anyway. SB 3bets to 11bb and CO calls. Since the squeeze is on the light side and it's 3 way I decide to call as well. I hit TP on a pretty dry board and the action is checked to me. I make a small bet mostly for protection. CO calls. The turn is 9h, so I pick up a flush draw and an OESD. Now I really like my hand. My question is should I bet? I didn't bet, because I didn't want to get raised. He could still have all the sets and a straight with 77. Plus what would a bet achieve here? There is hardly anything I am getting value from, and there isn't much to protect my hand against. I am asking, because if the turn was a blank (for example let's say 3c) I would have bet 1/3 pot again. Does it make sense not to bet when I pick up equity, but bet when I don't? Is my fear of getting raised irrational? If I bet and get raised the hand is strong enough to call, but is that the best move?
Any thoughts you share on the hand or on my way of thinking would be much appreciated! Thank you!
