No reads on villain. Given he is short and the flop so draw heavy I just shoved. What do you think?

Yeah, with his stack size and the texture of the flop, I would have done the exact same thing you did. Just unfortunate he flopped a straight.

Considering villain is super short you played it well.

Yeah fine some Ax won't fold and some villains at NL2 might go "hurr durr I has overpair" with 88 or something.

Agree that vs that shortstack it is ok.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm also wondering how you would play this flop if villain had a bigger stack (100bb). I would probably call the flop raise and reevaluate the situation on the turn; probably fold to further bets... but not sure.

Your plan is good if you are willing to call another bet. Villain will for sure bet either OTT or OTR. You have only 2 outs to improve.
If villain is a fish, he will have more draws here and I think you can call one more street if it is a blank. If villain is good player he shouldn't have A3 or straight draws so it's most likely sets and overpairs -> you could fold. This is my opinion.

For 100bb I prefer folding on flop, as you will be vs hands that beat you or that have enough equity vs your hand.
