Hey Guys

CO 26/22 Vpip/PFR 80 Hands

i foldet this Hand cause it a fold about -0,25% according to Nash if he pushes 26% think he may push wider so its a call, but what suprised me when i analyzed the Hand afterwards was that if i input in Icmmizer a Raising Range of 23% and a Calling-Range of 19% a Resteal is +0,51%
Restealing with about 40% of Hands is positive.

Can someone explain me why, calling the Push is slightly -EV put Restealing is +0,5??

kind regards Tony

When u resteal, u have some FE. When u call, u doesnt have the option to win by villain folding, the only way is if ur hands actually win at the showdown.

It's never about call in that spot but either to shove or fold. Imo you generate infinitesimal feq to make that shove profitable, he covers you hard and std resteal's the same, only spells differently. Depends on your image really, if he's at BTN or SB i'd be more inclined.

Thx Guys
imo i do not see any FE here if i resteal he is getting Odds better than 3 to 1 so he is prized in anyway. (even considering Icm Tax)

i now find the Solution why Icmmizer giving me the Results, if i input f.E. a Raising Range of 23% and a likely Calling-Range of 23% a push is actually -1%!

if i input that with some FE and give Opponent a Calling-Range of 19% a Push is positive

so the Question is now do i have FE in this spot, i think its highly unlikely and therefore my Fold should have been the Right Decision

kind Regards Tony

I don’t think you have fold equity here. Also it’s suspicious the CO isn’t shoving with his 9bb stack with the big stack on button in this hand. It could be sign of a trap, because if he would raise with let’s say 20% of his hands he should fold everything except premium hands against a button shove.

Cheers,

A ha, now u found it _thumbsup:
Its good to have a note about his mini-raise in this situation w this stack, too. If he does this w weak hands and folds, or premiuns to induce ur play.

Or keep changing it based on how u play and gameflow

I don´t think you had FE here too. I think if you put 23% raising range, he gonna call with 100% of hands (23% callling range) being EV-
