0,5/1 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.67 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BB with K♥, J♣
5 folds, SB calls $0,50, Hero raises to $4,00, SB calls $3,00.

Flop: ($8,00) Q♦, 5♦, 8♥ (2 players)
SB bets $1,00, Hero ?

?=A -> Raise to $6 as a Normal c-bet/fold on a 3-bet
?=B -> Call and evaluate Turn
?=C -> Fold

I'd go for a Raise to $6 to see where I am at but if he calls, should I give up accordingly on the Turn/River ?

I would also raise here, to 5$
And give up the Hand if i dont hit King on the Turn or he reraises me.

with a 40% ATS, he can hold a really bad hand, or wants to trap you.
After the Raise, you know, what is going on.

he is getting very good odds, when you only bet 5 $ or 6$ he will fold nearly nothing, no draw, no Q, no 8...

he should has to call at least 7$ better 8$
so you have to options. raise him big or call due to your odds and reevulate again on the turn.

imo no need to raise big, he wont fold a pair anyways :P

option A, just make sure you raise made hands so small, too
