I would do the same. I strongly believe that if you fold FH at NL5 your progress will be very slow.

Looks like a standard cooler. His turn play doesn't make sense when he checked the flop. He can trap with 88,33,QQ maybe Q8, he can have some sort of pair+draw. I think QQ is only a small portion of his range here. We are deep so I think you could bet river a bit smaller so he doesn't find the fold button with KK or AA. When he raises you have to call so the outcome would be the same.

You played it fine. Personally I wouldn't shove the river, instead bet/call, but yeah you would have lost the same amount anyway. Just a cooler

I do not like overbet shoving when deep here... But you can make a normal sized bet, yes.

I'm not a fan of 3betting the turn. It just feels wrong to do so. Someone who checks this flop back and raises this turn has either picked up a flushdraw he thinks he can semi-bluff raise, hit the straight with J9s or simply checked back the absolute nuts. 88 and 33 I see rather cbetting than checking.

For these reasons as well, I'd not go AI on the river but use a rather normal sizing of 2/3 pot. Unless he's a huge donk he'd think twice before calling 88 here (which is the only hand we are betting for value against)

I understand why you don't like 3betting and I think you are kind of tight. But if we do it smaller, only min re-raise, can he fold his draws? I think that would be bood way to charge his draws. I also think that if villain checks QQ otf he will check 88 and 33 also. Agree that river would be only a standard bet. With 100bb stack we would be all-in but as we are deep I don't like the shove.
