This is the 6th hand from the tournament. Unknown player. I think this is a very strange line of play from him. I do not think that Turn card helps him a lot ( only if he has a pair with a flush draw), so i decided that this bet on the river means i am beaten and decide to fold and not to risk so much chips so early in the tournament. What do you think ?

It’s indeed a weird check/min-raise on the turn. I have no experience on this kind of stakes, but it’s indeed possible he will do this with a kind of draw and then I would stack off here.

As played the river is the worst card possible and a clear fold I think.

I think that you played correctly. It seems that he is fun player so I will assume that he has something when he do that. Most of the time I would expect sets from him, some times FD with over cards that he can play like that and then he hit flush on river or 2 pairs like 87 or some random hand, but definitely I don't expect air with that line from fun player. Especially if he is unknown.
