77 CO vs BB deep stack off turn

If you are happy to broke the turn, why cap the flop? Some turn cards are mortal scarecards for our hand - any 6, 3 or 8 is horrifying.

Just shove the flop and if the villain has flopped it with 68, oh well. Might as well take value from set over set and semi bluffs / dumb AA traps.

Think of it this way. Villain holds 44 and the turn is a 6. He checks, you bet, he hero folds. OR he shoves, you fold. OR you both check it down.

None of these are good results for us.

As played its still a shove OTT - except now you have less equity to draw out on a flopped straight.

Venge, without giving your thought process it seems like you posted this hand to praise yourself for how you have played it.
I think that flop is the place to shove as there are action killers that can come on turn.

If you thought to go broke i think is better to do it OTF after villain donk/3bet. He could have smaller sets (44-55) or some draws or overpair.

At first as you can see it's recreational player. I saw many silly staffs like that from such players and in regarding of his bet sizings and his line I completely excluded even 68s/4/. So I stack off him on the turn, because I didn't like to fold him out on the flop for 220 bb or reduce him to 44,55,68s .
IN regarding of theoretical EV it is certainly more EV on stacking off on the flop. So It's really close for me.
