Hi guys, my first post on the hand discussion forum! So forgive me if the post is in a wrong place or in a wrong format.

I recently started playing spin and go's and I've got difficulties playing 3way pots. What would be a correct play on the flop?

PokerStars - $0.23+$0.02|15/30 NL (3 max) - Holdem - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BB): 25.5 BB
BTN: 11.67 BB (VPIP: 73.33, PFR: 28.57, 3Bet Preflop: 12.50, Hands: 16)
SB: 12.83 BB (VPIP: 62.50, PFR: 26.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 16)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 6♦ 7♥

BTN calls 1 BB, SB calls 0.5 BB, Hero checks

Flop: (3 BB, 3 players) 6♣ 3♠ 7♦
SB bets 1 BB, Hero calls 1 BB, BTN raises to 7 BB, fold, Hero raises to 24.5 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 3.67 BB and is all-in

Turn: (25.33 BB, 2 players) 4♠

River: (25.33 BB, 2 players) K♣

Spoiler

Hero shows 6♦ 7♥ (Two Pair, Sevens and Sixes)
(Pre 64%, Flop 76%, Turn 13%)
BTN shows 5♠ 3♦ (Straight, Seven High)
(Pre 36%, Flop 24%, Turn 88%)
BTN wins 25.33 BB

You have posted the hand on the right place, but I have removed the first spoiler. That spoiler has not much use here I think and then you don’t get the mistake that there are maybe 2 hands here.

I would raise right away on the flop after his min bet. You want value of you 2 pair and there are also a lot of turn cards that can kill your action and it’s also likely the button will call more than that he will raise. As played I would stack off as well on the big raise of the button.

Cheers,

Personally I think the worst thing you can do is give the results of a hand, in a spoiler or not. Its difficult for people to give a balanced assessment when they know what villain actually had. I don't know why this has started happening on forums (posting results), back when I was playing and studying limit five or so years ago it would have been frowned upon.

I think the way you played it is OK. There is definitely a case for raising the flop also, as you can easily be doing it with a draw as well as a made hand. Every players range can easily have hit this board, so I'm going to side with SDK1987 on this one and recommend a flop raise. I don't think the way you played it is terrible though.

@SDK Thank you, in the future I will not use a first spoiler.

@RedHeater Thank you as well. Haha that's probably true, looked at some other threads and some of them had the results spoilerd. But a solid point for sure!

Good to read your considerations!
