Guys, I encounter quite a lot of minbets on raised pots on the flop in micro spins on pokerstars. I think most of them indicate weak hands, therefore I raised after opponent's bet on the flop. Should I have called his relatively small reraise? What do you make of this?

PokerStars - $0.23+$0.02|10/20 NL (3 max) - Holdem - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BTN): 26 BB
SB: 17.5 BB (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 6)
BB: 31.5 BB (VPIP: 60.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 50.00, Hands: 6)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8♠ J♣

Hero raises to 2 BB, fold, BB calls 1 BB

Flop: (4.5 BB, 2 players) K♣ J♦ 5♥
BB bets 1 BB, Hero raises to 3 BB, BB raises to 5 BB, fold

BB wins 10.5 BB

Pre-flop open is close with the passive fish in the BB. I would normal fold a hand like this.

As played you have a mid-pair and it’s the question if he will fold to often on a raise and you have some showdown value as well. Without any reads on him I expect this isn’t the case. So I would call and her-evaluate the turn. As played you get indeed fantastic odds to call his min 3bet, but I expect you are up against at least top pair. So a fold isn’t too bad I think.

Cheers,
