I had a feeling that his bet looked more like dumping my action and giving me no opportunity to squeeze him out of the pot coz he had already committed himself to the pot and had no fold equity. It really made me think about how good my hand was to reshove. However, if he really wanted to ship all his money and induce a bet from me, c/r would be a better move coz I would not want to give him another free card as well. So I think A high is playable

Your sample on him is very small, but it’s also weird that he’s calling pre-flop with his marginal stack.
The problem is indeed that you don’t have fold equity and I’m not sure if he’s leading with worse than A high. He could easily lead with pocket pairs or a Tx combo.

So read less I would fold here. You don’t need to make a marginal spot against him with still a decent stack left.

Tricky spot. Its possible to go all in pre of course, but I would play like you did preflop.

Its a flop that many times will miss both players, so he could make a profitable move by betting any two cards if you will fold. He can also be betting lots of draws here. Its really difficult without a read on villain but I would be inclined to call here on the flop. If he has a ten (definitely possible T9, JT etc could try this call in the SB) you have at least got good outs to outdraw him.

Calling on the flop isn’t great I think. You committing yourself if he shoves the turn.
He has only 4,6bb left.

I think a good player would c/shove all-in should he flop a hand coz I would myself often try to put him out of the bank given the great fold equity. Did he want to call my reshove? I don’t think so coz he would often not get the most possible by initiating: an opponent sees that the bettor becomes committed to the pot and it would be unprofitable to play against such bettor without a good draw or a made hand. I also think that he would bluff more profitably ott if I checked behind and we saw any non-picture (which was more likely). Why would I check? Coz I saw a strange call from SB and a check on a dry flop.

Furthermore, a pair of tens is not a great hand as well against a reshove coz I could have a made hand preflop. Just a messy hand overall, I guess.
Besides a good player would not enter the pot by limping oop with a small ES without a monster in the first place which would gain more value through a passive play aften the flop or a reshove pre.
