[6-max Zoom] Good fold or no balls?

Yeah, this is one of those spots where equity might not matter too much. However, for sake of discussion, I have assigned the following range for villain (I left out hands like 86s since stats indicate villain to be tight until proven otherwise).

The range is totally off. When the flush completes and villain donk push we should fold.

Agree that the range is totally off. TT,JJ will not shove there, maybe those fold already OTT. 88,66 should fold at least OTT. Shove A9 on a flushy Q high board?? You got the point..

We played this hand like we have a strong made hand. That river card is very good for villain to bluff. He could bluff some % here but if we have no info on villain I think we should fold.

Agree on the fold. So how would we construct the range? Only flushes or is there something more?

As player is unknown, we cannot say for sure but it will be flushes mostly and some other hands (optional)

I like your fold. It's going to be a flush like 95 % of the time with his line, so I wouldn't risk it without any reads. Good fold

Although he were pretty much committed by the river, i think he would only bluff if he thought i was the one bluffing in the first place, unlikely.

This is NL2.. What would he ever turn into a bluff here? It's not like he's gonna be thinking about Ah8 float on the flop to either hit or bluff with his nut blocker. Makes no sense for him to bluff shove or value shove 2 pair when a flush hits.. def NOT at NL2.. I mean I don't even know how this can ever be a bluff unless the guy is just a complete maniac and sees a bluff card -> SHOVE. There might be 1 single bluff there that could make sense and that's T8 that just says fuck it, shoves prays and hopes, but with no read to me this is a snap fold.

Another thing speaking to it being a flush, even if he is a tight player(which there is no way we can tell after 11 hands).. with those pot odds preflop most suited cards are gonna look good to take a flop with and station down on a draw, donk shove river when get there... it's a pretty standard line.. people don't fold draws at NL2

The pot odds offered are 26 to 6 or about 4 to 1: an instant call for villain.

If you're worried about range defense, just look at the flushes you get to the river with. You seem to be worried that there is a chance he might bluff you here because he thinks you would never raise to 9BBs with 2 other players left on the flop? Is this the case, would you just flat every flush draw or would you raise to that amount with JhTh and QhJh? If you have these flushes that make it to the river then you don't need to worry.
