I would fold pre because there is many flops that are hard to play with JJ OOP without initiative. IP I might find a call.
Also Villains sample size is also small(we dont know how wide he 4bets).

Pre fine. Post you can call one street or fold. Both are fine.

True, when he made the 1/2 pot bet I was more and more thinking he had AK after analysing the hand. I was just not sure so I can better avoid regs until my game gets better.
Depends very much on villain but I wouldn't start jamming JJ pre as a standard.
Do you think villain will call your 5bet shove with weaker hands?

Avoiding will not help. Try to figure it out.
Oh if you hit the flop, make sure to check-raise right away or donk big to avoid him "pot-controlling".
