Here is the hand:

Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Omaha Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $2.02 (101 bb)
BB: $1.41 (70.5 bb)
UTG: $1.73 (86.5 bb)
MP: $1.50 (75 bb)
Hero (CO): $4.03 (201.5 bb)
BTN: $1.03 (51.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J A K 8
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.04, Hero raises to $0.15, BTN calls $0.15, 2 folds, MP calls $0.11

Flop: ($0.48) J T K (3 players)
MP checks, Hero checks, BTN bets $0.46, MP calls $0.46, Hero folds

Turn: ($1.40) 6 (2 players)
MP bets $0.67, BTN calls $0.42 and is all-in

River: ($2.24) Q (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

$2.24 pot ($0.07 rake)
Final Board: J T K 6 Q
MP showed 6 J 9 Q and won $2.17 ($1.14 net)
BTN showed Q 3 T T and lost (-$1.03 net)

Should I have bet on the flop myself? I am not really sure what to do in these spots cause MP was a huge 87/73 fish and quite aggressive. So button bets and MP calls... What am I supposed to do there?

Just call, or raise? I know I should not have folded, just did that because I did not know if it had been the corret play to stack off there!

About the maths:

The pot on the flop is 48c.
Btn: 88c left so an SPR lower 2
MP: 1,35c left so an SPR of around 3 (bit lower)

Btn bets on the flop for 46c and MP calls.

My question now is: When button bets 46c into the 48c pot, does this make his SPR below one?
Or more general -> Is the money btn bets taken into account when it comes to SPR, or do you calculate it before he bets, because this would make a huge difference.

SPR before the bet (btn) 1.8 -> after the flop (if the bet is taken into account) 42c / 94c= 0.4

If you calculate it like this the SPR of MP would also me smaller, which tells me that i need less equity to call or even shove there.

I hate mathematics, because I am reall bad at that :f_mad: Maybe someone could explain the way of thinking according to calculations???
I hope that you get what I mean as it is not really explained in a very sophisticated way :f_biggrin:

Thank you for answering in advance!!! :f_drink:

edit: Moreover, how much equity would I need to profitably stack off there??? I am somehow more and more confused the more I think about all that mathematical stuff :f_ugly:

yo yo
Flop is kinda tricky. I think it fits in betting range (sizing idk, maybe halfpot) and a checking range. I actually think I like checking better.
As played, I like folding vs decentish opponents.

There will be a sidepot. You calculate how much equity you need before his bet.

Hmm okay! So now I got the SPR I think. It is calculated before the bet, really good to know - thank you :f_drink:

So you mean either check or bet here? Did i understand that correctly?
Is check/calling no valid option in this spot?

When it goes pot into call you don't have enough eq to continue with AKJ.

I meant your particular hand can go into both ranges but now I think betting on the flop is better. You need a little bit of protection (A,7,8,9) and there is a shortie in the pot who you are happily betcalling against .
