Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is BB with A :club: A :spade:
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.15, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.50, BTN calls $0.35

Flop: ($1.02) J :club: 9 :diamond: J  (2 players)
Hero bets $0.65, BTN raises to $1.80, Hero calls $1.15

Turn: ($4.62) 3 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.20, Hero?

Do we call on the flop here? Folding seems a bit weak. Call one street and fold to further agression?

Jx and 99 are possible but so are QQ,KK and some bluffs since this is blind battle.
I would call his raise OTF and I would call turn too since he bets less than 1/2 pot.

Actually now that I see you would leave only 1.5$ behind after calling turn I played with Equilab a bit. If we give him QQ,KK, we can give him a lot of Jx hands too and we are still only flipping. So should be shove here?

I feel like many KK combos would 4bet pre, since it's a blind battle and he gets less credit for the 4bet. Without the kings, and with the queens raising here beeing a bit strange (what worse hands call his raise with queens?) I think the turn should probably be a fold at least :/ He had KJ and i called down

Hmm yea that is my bad. I didn't think that properly. In reality he would have 4bet most of his KK and maybe QQ too and he might have indeed wider range of Jx than that. :f_rolleyes: It is ok to fold OTT.

X flop, we dont need to proteckt hand, or bet 1/3.

KK- QQ will not raise this flop. They will call.

KK will 4b pre. That's right.
QQ will call as board is awful.
As played, the turn card does not change anything. If you call flop you have to call turn too.
It is better to fold flop.

Yes. I wrote those before my morning coffee kicked in. Didn't think those properly. He would most likely 4bet KK and QQ pre and he wouldn't raise those OTF. It is true that we are behind.

Well yeah. We can make a smaller bet and fold vs aggression.

Folding an AA overpair to a measly flop raise getting 2:1 is highly exploitable, just so you know it. This is also not a very good flop to check.
