Villain is by far the best reg at this site/limit. His river x/r does not make much sense to me at all, especially without blockers, and that he is not getting a fold from anything better (any Jx is a snapcall, if that decided to go for thin value, QQ-KK are betting maybe half of the time, and may even herocall vs his very tight repping range). What do you think of this hand, and what would your b/c and b/f ranges be OTR?

I’m not really a cash game player, but it’s a good way to bump your thread again.

If I would play this hand I would play it the same way as you did. Only thing I would do differently is our river sizing. Now you bet almost half your stack in the middle and I expect if you bet 20bb villain can easier bluff shove here and now you are committed anyway. So it would make no sense for him to shove with a weaker hand than our hand

Further I recommend removing the outcome the next time or put them in to a spoiler. This info can influence the feedback what you get.

Cheers,

Indeed villains line OTR doesn't make any sense. I believe he would have bet his strong hands OTT or at least OTR when you check behind. Only reason for his river shove that I can think of is that villain is thinking you are capped because you checked turn and you are trying to bluff..

I would play this the same way. Except I think it is maybe better to bet smaller OTR to get more calls from hands like TT,Jx.

Yeah from my point of view it is well played but then again, I think I am responding at a place I shouldn't be responding :f_biggrin: :f_biggrin:
