In this case you definitely have to protect your hand. There is a ton of draws out there and villain might have smaller pocket pairs he is also willing to commit on the flop. This is a clear spot for a raise and you should obviously go broke if necessary.

How do you handle this spot?
All I'll say is that this attitude has had me incorporating donking into my range - especially against people that seem like regs. (And my range contains nothing like overpairs willing to committ:D)
