SB: $15.55 (97.2 bb)
Hero (BB): $16.24 (101.5 bb)
UTG: $18.59 (116.2 bb)
MP: $31.49 (196.8 bb)
CO: $20.08 (125.5 bb)
BTN: $35.36 (221 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J♣: J♠:
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.48, SB calls $0.40, Hero raises to $2.08, BTN folds, SB calls $1.60

Flop: ($4.64) 2♣: 4♣: 3♠: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.52, SB calls $3.52

Turn: ($11.68) 6♥: (2 players)
SB bets $9.95, Hero??

Preflop: BTN plays 36/23 in 46 hands and SB is a fish, playing 33/13 in 107 hands. I decided to squeeze because think it would be the most profitable play there. I would probably get it in vs BTN's shove, but I prefer BTN to fold and fish to call.

Flop: Hit an overpair and cbet big with intention to shove the turn vs fish. There are alot of worse hands he will call with.

Turn: 5x came there and he shoves. What to do? I believe he could have some 5x in his range, mostly A5 and 55, but does he really call those two times preflop? Anyway, that move should be a tell on those limits and I believe I should exploitatively fold.

I would have reasoned it as BTN is unknown and SB is fish. We cannot know for sure whether BTN is loose or tight here. I'd call preflop dude :) but then again, I am no NL16 player :f_biggrin:

As played, I would have folded here OTT as well.

I think calling would be called the exploitative move (against tight player that by definition has missed the board), since balance easily dictates a fold. We have stuff higher than JJ in the range. I'd fold since this fish is not tight and has 5x in his range, and might like money in spite of being fish. I am suspicious though:rolleyes: Why not wait 'til river and/or let you bet?

I like the fold on turn. Villain is a fish and can have better.
