9 max SnG 0.5$ hands AKo on the BTN against a passive

Weard but symbolic hand for leak elimination.
Okey now, Preflop I think it was ok to iso raise to 4 bb in position against a passive (may be 5 bb will be better for the geometry or the pot on further streets if we hit and vb-shove.
OTF things got me tilted coz I get really confused when I see such bets. I think I should have raised to 8-9 bb to shove OTT for value. At first I thought that if I raise too big he most likely fold all his bluffs and I lose value on further streets coz he may continue probe betting to make me fold hands that have no A. Basically makes no sence, but fish moves have weak logic in the first place. Now I think that I just loose value coz he most likely vb with a weaker Ax and is afraid of my stronger kicker. Nethertheless, he is not likely to fold any A, some jx, gutshots, pp which is basically 80% of his preflop range that is why we should go for it.
As played OTT we had to make a move and either pot shove for value or 3bet 15BB and call/shove OTR.

It’s indeed a weird line of villain during this hand. Not sure what he wants with his weird bets and he could have weaker aces as well, but calling down is the safest option if you don’t know what you can do best here. A typical spot that you are far behind or far in front I think.

I see these weird small bets all the time and in my experience like SDK says you are well ahead or well behind, OTF i think he has either a set, two pair or just an Ace. The small bet/raise makes me think hes two pair or better

I'm never quite sure what to do on these turn and river small bets and usually end up just calling to be on the safe side, but often end up seeing a worse A and thinking I should have just gone for it
