We definitely want to see all 5 cards here but shoving with 20 bb is way too big. Would you just minraise here?

First of all I have moved the hand to the tournament hand discussion forum, because there are more 180 player SNG players active.

I would min raise/call in a spot like this with a 19bb stack.

Cheers,

Yeah raise, get it in looks good, especially with the SB being pretty likely to 3b shove, based on his stats so far. Depending on the opponents calling range against 20bb shoves I don't necessarily mind a shove either, it can look a lot weaker to my opponents than it is, like a Ax hand that doesn't wanna raise/call off, but doesn't just wanna fold either, besides at any micro people have a problem folding KJ preflop, ever. If the SB isn't so aggro I am leaning more towards a openshove.

Edit: Looking at MP and SB dynamic, I see MP calling you a ton of the time which gives the aggro SB more incentive to shove here with more deadmoney in the pot.

Ye, dynamic really matters preflop and this is what I miss sometimes at such spots.
