Villain seems to be weak, kind of tight and passive. He 3bets very little so I guess his 3bet here is KK+,AQs+?
I think villain is going to fold a lot vs raises? When you raise this flop you isolate yourself against flushes and sets. So I wouldn't raise this flop. And since you did I think it is better to give up.

I believe villain had A-high flush. Am I right?

Ofcourse he could have flopped a flush, but it is statistically unlikely. He could have slowplayed a made flush but he might as well just get it in on flop after you raise him. So the call could have been a slowplay OR simply a hand that he has that is too good to fold, too weak to raise you all in; this leaves us with overpairs with a diamond in it. If you fill in your hand on 8d7d3d vs 2% range in equilab, you are a 60% favorite and I think it is a good habit (although difficult at first at least it was for me) to learn to try to play vs RANGES and not vs a specific hand you think he holds THAT BEATS YOURS. Of course 3 diamonds is not ideal for you, but on the other hand on rainbow youmight not have gotten the same amount of action of hands like AA with Ad.

YES!

It is perfectly played versus a fishy weak-tight opponent having a practically guaranteed overpair. Not raising flop "because villain might fold" is totally wrong because he isn't going to fold. He has been waiting for on his big pair for hundreds of hands and just ain't gonna fold.

Push turn. He will likely call even without diamonds, but might not call every river. This dude is not holding T9/77/66/33 many days of the week. He might hold A♦:K♦:, but that would be just incredibly unlucky. If you manage to not get it in here, then you should fold 8♦:7♦: preflop because you wouldn't know how to play it properly postflop (when flopping virtual nuts).
