Preflop: Hero is BB with K♥: J♦:
2 folds, CO raises to $0.30, BTN folds, SB calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.90) T♦: 2♥: 6♥: (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO checks

Turn: ($0.90) Q♥: (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.54, CO calls $0.54, SB folds

River: ($1.98) 8♥: (2 players)
Hero bets $1, CO raises to $2.94, Hero folds

Is the river fold ok? Should we bet bigger otr?

The preflopcall is not ok. We have perfect opportunity to squeeze.
Postflop is ok as played.

Squeeze pre. On the river you are with the 2nd nuts and need abt. 20 % to call. So, maybe you could find the call.

No, but air would if air knows you fold too easily. Here you get 3:1, and that is the major issue. It could still be a fold though.

I think it's better to fold. If villain doesn't have the Ah, from his perspective, it could easily be in your hand, he wouldn't raise.

Of couse, he might bluff, but it's very risky here.

I would prefer to check/call. That way we loose less if we are behind, and induce some bluffs if we are ahead.

Check calling second nuts is a very very scarred play. You lose money on it. But I agree. It is a fold once he raises. The tie breaker is that he raised, investing 3 to win 3 in case he is on a bluff. Yet so, we can't fold second nuts every time if playing the same regulars week after week.
