Hi all, last night i had the hand from above...
in the small blind calling with 44 is just to get connected with the board.
But the question is should i bet on the flop or did i play this hand good???

When mw it is good to lead the flop. It is common for the hand to be checked and you miss value.

I would have bet earlier. If he hadn't called on the river you wouldn't have gotten anything. And I don't think someone would call without a :club: in their hand. But then I suppose a bet on flop could of scared anyone thinking you had a straight off....

When you are multiway you should just lead on the flop. There is too big a risk that everyone checks. Also you don't want to let villain hit a flush or straight for free when holding only a set.
You got lucky when villain called OTR.

Nothing wrong with taking the lead, your play's funny.

I would bet the flop as a lot of draws out there and then continue betting OTT. I don´t think villains will call you overbet like this a lot :)

That is just a sick cooler and those happen. Wasn't your fault.
Even if you had bet OTF villain would have called with flush and gutshot and with this turn card you would have gone all-in anyway.

Leading is ok, also x/raising OTF if you are facing aggro villains for value and protection. Rest of the hand is ok and is just a cooler if you lost.

How super-bad your opponent played:D Take notes.

On this flop, people will have stuff like A♣:6♣: and 6♥:7♥: etc. You will definitely get calls. The same type of hands may happily take the free card. I'd bet. I'd surly bet turn. When are you going to make money on your hand if you don't start betting? As played - I approve of river shove though.
