Hi,

V is playing 24/21 over 95 hands, 3bet 14.3 and is opening from the button 29% (7 situations though) of the time.

If V is opening on such short stack I'm assuming that he is doing this only / mainly with his monsters, around 9% (66+,AT+; or even tighter), it's an fold:

However if he does it with whole his opening range (21%, 33+,A2s+,A4o+,KTs+,KJo+,QJs), which is less than Nash pushing range (34%, 22+,A2+,K4s+,KTo+,Q6s+,QTo+,J7s+,JTo,T7s+,T9o,97s+,87s) it's an easy call with ATC:

How do you portrait such villains? To they polarize they range by inducing push via raise with the top of their range and just push the rest, or they are rather donks who do not recognize it's a push/fold phase?

For this it’s good to have reads on him, because this is a interesting spot to set ICM pressure on him with pushing. Read less I think it’s indeed possible he is doing this with monsters only and I would fold this as well.

How had he been playing before? Lots of small raises or had he been shoving?
If he isn't aware of shove /fold mode he might still be opening wide from the BU, in which case I would be seriously tempted to shove

That's the thing - no specific reads. :/ Shall I saw him playing weird (recreational player-like) I would definitely shove.

Thanks for replies!
