PokerStars - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 250.5 BB (VPIP: 19.61, PFR: 11.76, 3Bet Preflop: 5.56, Hands: 53)
SB: 100 BB (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 25.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 8)
BB: 131.5 BB (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 13)
UTG: 144.5 BB (VPIP: 21.43, PFR: 10.71, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 30)
MP: 154.5 BB (VPIP: 42.86, PFR: 28.57, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 15)
Hero (CO): 208.5 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T♠ T♦

fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.5 BB, fold, SB calls 2 BB, fold

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) 6♣ T♣ 5♣
SB checks, Hero bets 3.5 BB, SB raises to 12 BB, Hero calls 8.5 BB

Turn: (30 BB, 2 players) 8♥
SB bets 19 BB, Hero calls 19 BB

River: (68 BB, 2 players) 8♣
SB bets 66.5 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 66.5 BB

I got lost a little bit. Should I 3-bet/stack off OTF, or just call? I think I play vs this range:

Stół: 6♣T♣5♣
       Equity  Wygrana  Podział
MP2    48.47%   47.92%    0.55% { TdTs }
MP3    51.53%   50.99%    0.55% { 66-55, AcQc, KcQc, AcJc, KcJc, QcJc, Ac9c, Kc9c, Qc9c, Jc9c, Ac8c, Kc8c, Qc8c, Jc8c, 9c8c, Ac7c, 8c7c, Ac4c, Ac3c, Ac2c }

Imho nice hand, you miss fdn that raise in seminbluff, but imho call is better than 3bet/broke

The assumption that poker players never ever bluff is hereby put into question.

Still an acceptable play tough. Turn can get tricky to play if he makes a huge bet.

Odds to flop a flush are 118 to 1 when you someone has a sc. In micros I prefer to play fast those kind of hands and try to get all money in as fast as possible. You still have a decent equity against flushes and he can be doing the same with A♣:X kind of hands and even lower sets. Against a NIT one I can play the hand just as you did but against and unknown I prefer "faster".

I would cbet bigger on the flop to get maximum value from his continueing range. Which are imo a load of single :club: hands. More like 4,5bb - 5bb.
That's the only thing I would do different.

The rest is fine; We obv. fold the river though if the board doesn't pair

I think I would've played the same. We could be behind and we have a lot of chances to improve.

Even if the turn was another club, we had 10 outs to improve. Against that size, we can call.

I would've bet bigger on the flop. Close to pot size.

I think it's played fine. There are arguments to bet the flop bigger (for the reason that guys mentioned), but there are also arguments to bet the flop with the sizing you did - we don't want to bet bigger to set ourselves a better price to call in case villain 3bets + we want hands without a club to stay in the hand.

What hands without a club will continue more likely to our smaller cbet that fold to our bigger cbet?

Don't know because don't know player's tendencies, but in general I believe stuff like 2nd pairs are more likelly calling vs smaller cbet than vs bigger cbet on this kind of board.

Should we expect villain to have 6x-combos in his range here? Imho the only 6x I have in his shoes is 66. Honestly the only hands I can think off that might want to call a smaller cbet and fold to a bigger one could be 77, 99 or 78s.

Then the hands that call a cbet anyways, no matter if it's 3,5bb or 5bb are realistically imo:

- 65s
- 66, 55
- Offsuited broadways with single :club:
- Suited Tx hands.

Also, I don't expect to get 3bet that often on this board, except made flushes. Even if villain only checkraises his made flushes and has 0 bluffs, we still get the right price to call a 4x checkraise after our 5bb cbet.

Therefor I see no reason to cbet so small and I'd rather go for value straight on the flop.

Of course villain can have 6x - 66, 56, 76, 1-club hands too.
I think it is ok as played.

Yes. People have way too much respect for mono boards. There are, say, 4 made flushes in a typical range, and about a million draws to the flush. Already made smaller sets may outnumber made flushes, and he may be playing them fast.

What do you think about 3bet OTF and going broke? Against flushes only we have 35% equity but if we add 55 and 66 to his range we are actually dominating him.

You do not have enough outs for that.
