I had some recent history with this guy on a couple of tables and feel like he's often making a play at the pot here because he knows this is a good spot for me to cbet. My question is if there is any value in my shove on the flop. My reasoning was that I don't think he'll put any more money in the pot later on unless he has a better hand than me, and also if I just call and he shoves turn I'll end up calling anyways. Based on this I'm going to end up getting my stack in against all his better hands on the turn anyways if I flat call so I might as well shove to keep him from drawing out.
Is this an accurate analysis?
