any reads about utg limper ?
without reads i think i will just complete here and go broke on any hit on the flop.
if he is a known high blind limper, then this shove is very good.
but against unknown, i would just complete here and hope to hit a 9 or an ace on the flop.

explain how limping would be +ev here... aren't we actually loosing value by that?... the only hands we are really scared of here will pretty much have us beat on 9 & A high boards...

And I had played like 30 hands on the table... hadn't seen him limping before but the action was pretty deepstacked on my table so I thought he might limp wide range here maybe...

your M is about 6. and thats a bit too high for me to push A9 all in.
if your M would be just 4 it would be perfectly correct to push here.
the pot offers you 3250:500 or 6:1 odds.
and i think those odds are good enough to complete hands like 56, J9, Any suited king or ace and so on.
A9 has a far better equity against a limper and a random hand then 18%
so completing should give you a nice profit in the long run.

so if you only complete here, you will hit your ace on the flop in close to 20% of the flops.
so completing here with 6:1 shows a nice profit if your paired ace is good.

you see ? you need 18% equity for completing. and you hit your ace in about 18-19% on the flop.
so it should be obvious that completing will show a profit.

if you dont hit, you have invested 500 of your chips.
but if you hit your Ace or a flop like 259 you will be in good shape and will you will be able to win at least those 3250 out there.
