Hello Trixoj

Welcome on the PokerStrategy forum :welcome:

First of all I recommend not posting the outcome of the hand or put it in a spoiler, because this could influence the feedback what you get.

Pre-flop I would fold or raise this hand first in. Limping I would never do in a spot like this. In this situation I would fold this, because I expect you play to often against passive players in a random $1 SKO tournament.

As played I would play the hand post-flop exact the same with trips and indeed you was lucky on the river in the end.

Cheers,

Hello,
given the flushdraw possibilities on the flop, wouldnt it be better to raise on the flop?

Hello,

Fold preflop. You're in way too early position to be limping (in fact you should almost never openlimp) and you'll get raised a ton of times so this play can never be profitable.

As played, get it in on the flop as you have the best hand almost always and you'll get called by worse alot of the times. The board is pretty draw-heavy and I don't see the donkbetter betfolding too often.
