Too optimistic call with AA?

It depends on villain quite much. If he can do this with JJ-KK and some draws I think it is good call. You have to win 27% here. Ofc he has sets but I have seen quite stupid plays in these situations too, so against unknown I think it shouldn't be very bad to call.

Whether to give up right away on the flop (yes, you have an overpair, but the board is very nasty and you have two opponents and are out of position) or to proceed is your decision. (The decision should depend on stack sizes.) But if you continue, make a big decisive bet (maybe AI, this removes positional problems). This bet here accomplishes nothing unless you actually fold to the raise. As played, I'd have folded to the raise.

When villain raises mw you should stop and think well. You have an overpair but most of the time you will face 2p+ and even the draws have good equity vs you. Just do not fall in love with your AA and fold.

Well, it´s hard. I don´t see anything in villains range that has beat us - maybe he could call PF raise with TT. But mostly I see there overpairs and some draws. My decision would be based on stats of villain.
