Pre-flop defending is close against a nit that’s raising from early position. As played you are blocking 2 sets with top 2 pair. So I would 3bet here as well on the flop, but is 40bb in total big enough I think. Now both players are going all-inn it’s more likely you are complete crushed against a set and in best case you’re against 2 flush draws. So here I can still fold my 2 pair I think, but it’s tough for sure.

Tough spot indeed. Both players look nitty, so I'm wondering if the SB is capable of donking with a draw or one pair hand and also if the MP is capable of raising with those kind of hands. If we fold right away, it sucks. If we call and someone 3bets, it sucks. If we 3bet and someone shoves, it sucks, too. It's probably not bad as played, but as nitty as it sounds, I think we can sometimes find a fold on the flop.

Ugh such an ugly spot.
3bet and stackoff isnt bad so nh.
But I agree with Alleen here, flatting the raise and when it goes back to SB and he 3bets (plus possibly MP 4bets) we have an easy fold, since the weakest hand SB would have is A♦:J♦: and two other combos of JT. I think he wouldnt 3bet his other draws when he has a good price to call.

I think it is not terrible as played but fold might be better since villains are quite tight and MP is raising a donk multiway. There are some better hands possible :)

Ugly indeed. I would 3 bet this PF. I´m afraid we have to fold when both of them shove. One of them might have monster draw and the other set.

I guess you mean with PF pre-flop, but it could mean post-flop as well. I don’t think 3betting pre-flop is to smart against a tight player and you play in position with a hand that played pretty good post-flop as well.

Yeah, I meant pre-flop, but u are right, I better stop using that abbreviation . Anyway I think we should 3 bet. The thing is, there 2 more players behind us and one of them seems super aggressive... As MP is tight he will fold to our 3 bet often, right? And if he calls we still hold pretty good hand, which can hit the flop very well. Moreover we represent strong hand so we can bluff our way out.

lol? Where is that close? It's even MORE profitable to defend JTs vs a NIT because we have much better implied odds if we hit strong!

For the rest, I completely agree. Getting this in vs. 2 guys is quite close. But definitely doable if someone has an overpair and the other e.g. a combodraw. Vs 2 regs it's a fold though

Also, I think some people forget that we play for 100bb-Stacks at least. It's possible to defend wider in a lot of spots, given the implieds

It´s close but still not enough close to call imo. The best scenario is that we stand against monster draw and overpair (as you said) and even against this we have 43% equity.
