Hi,

I bet 28% on the river. Felt that I should have bet more.
How much do you bet on this kind of card on the river?
Should I take more aggressive line on the flop?

I’m no fan to defend with a speculative hand in the BB against an early open for 17bb effective.
I would fold pre-flop for sure. On the flop, we have only 4 outs for a straight and a backdoor flush draw and I don’t think raising with a weak draw is profitable against an unknown.

The river I would most likely bet around half pot for value and if you bet more you don’t get much action I think.

Cheers,

Wouldnt defend such a weak hand with 19 bbs against early open.
The flop is a fold imo too.

In the river I would bet atleast half pot, probably even 2/3 pot expecting to be called by some aces.
