Stacks:
BTN ($67.5BB) 68bb
SB ($100BB) 100bb
BB Hero ($100BB) 100bb
Pre-Flop: (1.5BB, 3 players) Hero is BB 7♥: 7♦:

BTN folds, SB raises to 2BB, Hero raises to 7.5BB, SB calls 5.5BB

Flop: 6♠: 5♣: K♦: ($13BB, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks
Turn: 8♣: ($13BB, 2)
SB bets 11BB, Hero calls 11BB
River: T♦: ($35BB, 2)
SB checks, Hero checks

The villain plays somewhat LAG pre and is pretty sticky postflop. otb have the note that he always opens 2bb (70% rfi), not sure about in the SB. Decided to 3bet, call is also fine.

Flop: Think I made a mistake, ip it's better to bet or can we check behind?

Turn: He bets 3/4 in a somewhat drawy board, is call the right play with a pair and our own straight draw?

I wouldn't 3bet pre.
OTF i see no reason to bet if you have info that he doesn't fold much.
Calling turn is somewhat close but I think it was not terrible.

Counterproductive 3bet pre, moreover vs a somewhat sticky lag opponent.
As played, I think the cbet is necessary (and the fact that you don't feel too much like cbetting is proof by absurd that the 3bet was a bad idea).

As played until turn it would be silly to fold. I would even maybe call a river barrel on some cards but I'm happy not to have to think about it here ^^

Can u guys explain why is 3 betting preflop bad? I´ve seen video when the coach said that we can 3 bet 77+ on blinds against CU, BU and I think this is simillar spot - villain should have wide range on SB, right?
Anyway, as played I would cbet flop and then give up. OTT I would fold, villain´s bet seems strong.

I have to say that I don't agree with that 3betting strategy at all.

First of all from BB I would not 3bet any small pocket pair, only the value ones. That is because you have to call 1bb less which makes all of them very good for set mining. Also with a hand like this your main goal is still to hit a set and if you don't, it is very difficult to continue. MyFloXyBabY has a good point there. We might have the best hand and we probably have nice fold equity so normally if this was a single raised pot I would cbet here but now I just hate the idea of cbetting even if we maybe should.

From SB I can agree with 3betting some pocket pairs. And that is because 1) we don't get as good odds as we get from BB 2) we have one player behind and we don't want to get squeezed or play multiway
BUT those should be the smallest pocket pairs. I could do SBvCO with 22-44 and SBvBTN with 22-66.
With something like 77 you might have an overpair on some boards. And if you hit a set, it might not be the bottom set. 22 is a lot worse. So I really see no point in calling the weaker ones and start bluffing with mid strength pockets.
AND versus min raise I would never ever 3bet any small pocket pair because we get so good price. It is profitable to call and very easy to play postflop (fit or fold). There is absolutely no reason to turn that spot into 3bet bluff.

Lastly the difference between blinds vs BTN/CO and blind vs blind is the position. In this hand hero has position and in those other scenarios he doesn't.

I have to admit I'm quite astonished to hear about a coach 3betting medium pockets BvB indeed, with all due respect of course, I suppose he knows what he's doing, has a special reason or that the video is really old maybe ? ?(

Anyway la55i nearly said it all and as of nowadays it might be hard to find a decent reg 3beeting those given the fact that both Janda and Snowie advice against.
Usually when the coldest human and the warmest machine find themselves agreeing on something it's dangerous to try to change it ;)

Another (more complicated) reason is that someone who 3bet every PP can hardly have anything when he just calls on low boards and can't represent sets on them. Good luck for him in single raised pots then !

Personally I don't think it was an error 3betting middle pairs in that situation against a lag who opens 50%+. Whatever its worth just checked snowie app and says pocket 99 are mixed between call and 3bet against 3bb raise, 88 are mixed against 2.5bb, so I'm guessing 77 could also be a mixed strategy contra 2bb raise. But I can see how calling is probably the best option.

It's not that it's horribly -EV preflop against an opponent that lag, but it's not very useful if you don't know how to play it effectively postflop, which will be hard.
Does Snowie suggest a cbet here ? ?(
Anyway vs a lag I don't like adjusting like that, I prefer calling and playing more confy postflop, reducing the SPR with hands that don't really know where they are at on most boards will only get us to play into the hands of the said opponent, we're playing his game.
(On the contrary Ed Miller advice to raise LESS hands preflop vs a lag to hide information and then overexploit his natural agressivity.)

Some great points on how to play from the blinds in these posts against loose players preflop, thanks guys, it really made me think.
