MP: $20.72 (207.2 bb)
CO: $16.37 (163.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J♠: J♣:
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.30, CO folds, BTN calls $0.30, Hero calls $0.25, BB folds

Flop: ($1) 2♥: Q♣: 9♣: (3 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $0.79, BTN folds, Hero calls $0.79

Turn: ($2.58) 6♦: (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $1.15, Hero calls $1.15

River: ($4.88) 2♦: (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks

Results:

Spoiler

$4.88 pot ($0.22 rake)
Final Board: 2♥: Q♣: 9♣: 6♦: 2♦:
Hero showed J♠: J♣: and won $4.66 ($2.42 net)
MP mucked K♦: A♥: and lost (-$2.24 net)

Not sure right now if I based my decision on a high cbet freq from villian but besides Qx he could also bet on 9T, flushdraws and overcards.

Is the calldown OK or burning money?

Easy fold if villian bets the river?

OTR I would fold and OTT is close imo.
I think calling turn is fine since board has some draws, villain doesn't bet terribly big and you know he barrels frequently.

Dude, you should focus on learning to squeeze from SB ;)
Vs an early opener tight and alone, JJ should rather be a flat, but vs a normal or large early opener and a call from BU it becomes an easy squeeze.
SB is the position where you don't want to flat at all nearly, and JJ OOP without initiative is hard to play.

As played, turn it's close. Why not calling ok, but I wouldn't even call a quarter pot on that river card.

I think the flop call is already close, because it’s not too likely the MP will bluff in to 2 players with less than top pair or a decent flush draw.

I would 3bet preflop. OTF I call, OTT (without further read) I fold.

My first instinct reading the HH was "squeeze goddamit", and you should know that I am not particularly squeeze happy from the blinds:) Hoping that this will hold up (the flop bet came when still 3-ways, discounts bluffs) is optimistic at best.
