I would have probably played it the same way. Since we decided to call the 3bet preflop, I think our hand is good enough to check/call the flop. He has enough worse hands (mostly AXs) which are bluffing the flop. I would check/fold vs further aggression. There is a chance that he is bluffing the river after we checked the turn and river, but I think folding is the best when we checked. What about making a small blocking bet OTR, like 1/4 to 1/3 to prevent him from bluffing and maybe get calls from something weaker if exists (like JJ)?

It depends on how you set up your play.

If you go by guess-villain's-range, then you guess and act accordingly. May be right here, it is up to you.

Otherwise, QQ is together with a couple KQs or so, the top of your bluff catching hands.

If you go by a more advanced version of guess-villain's-range, then ask what he puts you on. He'll probably put you mostly on KQs and pp < K + busted FD with this dynamics. You have a history with this guy. Will he believe he can push you off pp (even all of them)? If so, then he has a mandatory bluff with at least his worst hands.

Huh, I think hero played it very well vs guy with low 3b, especially CO vs MP and low AF. WP

I see many different lines that are decent but imo check folding is not one of them.

1. you could make a small blockbet to prevent villain from bluffing you. This might not be the best of the good lines since villain doesn't have many weaker hands that could possibly call you.
2. you could check call this. As yohan said you have a decent bluff catching hand and when you check 3 times I think villain should bluff you quite often.
3. When the guy checks the turn he is probably capped. You could overbet river to make him fold a lot of hands.

3b from CO 2.1% for 3k hands should be enough sample to drain some info..

Dont have equilab in front of me but 2.1% range should be - AA / KK / QQ / JJ / AKs.

What is his river aggression for 3k hands?

This seems like an easy fold for me, even on the flop. You will see very very often a hand that beats you here. I also dont really think you have fold equity if you overbet the river.

I don't see better hands folding vs our river overbet. I don't think QQ is a bluffing hand there in general.

I don't see hero's hand ahead of villain's range at any point.
Villain's check on turn is suspiciously inducing a bluff, Hero does not fall for it on the river. Well played I guess?

As played it´s ok. But better line would be: donk OTT and bet OTR imo.
