Flop: (45.4 BB, 2 players) J♦ 4♠ 5♥
BB bets 22.6 BB, Hero calls 22.6 BB

I float with over cards, when he shutdowns OTT I figured out that I had a steal oportunity. So I took it.

I took a note that I did that play to the vilain, in order not to do it too often. On the counterpart I believe some other players do the same play, so I add strong hands in my turn checking range when OOP in 3 bet pots so that I can induce the same play from other players.

What do you think? Standard play, no?

Your iso-raise is on the big side and BB 3bets vs 3 limpers and you and he is OOP vs everyone. I think his range should be quite tight and calling pre is close.
OTF you have king high so I'm not sure if you should just give up here.
Since you called OTF I think that turn stab is fine.

I fold pre to a big 3bet.

Flop I also fold, after big 3bet and cbet - we have just overcards.

I think you got lucky there :)

Ok preflop and flop but turn I don't think I dare to pull the trigger, he's supposed to be quite strong and I'd prefer to wait for the river card to reevaluate.

I would also fold preflop. Our bet is big itself and when BB raises I don´t feel comfortable with KQo anymore. Of course we have position, so if we feel confident about postlop play we can go for it imo. As played I agree with postflop, just one thing. I think T bet is too big. We can make it half of the pot and generate same amount of folds (well not same, but the difference is not worth to make it bigger imo).

Well, I said it because of sizings mainly. Our raise is pretty big, isn´t it? So, If I was BB I would think twice about squeezing there. I think this is one of the tougher spots you can get in at micros. Of course as I said before, if we are confident enough I have no problem with calling. But I myself don´t get often in spots like this one (referring to preflop action), can´t really recall one concrete of them that I fell in. My point is, I don´t see majority of micro players skilled enough to stand in spots like this one.

Yea I think the sizings are worth considering. There might be a lot of fish interested in the pot and villains 3bet size is already close to standard 4bet size so it is not a standard resteal situation.

I don't see the point with the sizings. Hero steal bigger, so villain resteal bigger too, that's all. Absolutely nothing here that should tell us a priori that he does it with a stronger range. (And if so, by the way, all the more reason to steal lighter, 4BB wtf ?!)

So you have static ranges? You don't change anything vs different bet sizes?
You also think that if villain resteals 43s as a standard and makes it 8 or 9 bb pre flop, now he is putting in 21bb with that hand?
I also would believe that when there are 3 limpers (probably fish that likes to call wide) bluffing will become less profitable.

I personally have dynamic ranges. I can defend wider vs smaller raises and I definitely won't 3bet bluff with my standard range vs 8bb open.

I change things but KQo is way too high on my calling range vs 3bet to withdraw it here. (If it's in the bottom or yours, you've got a problem)

We're still deep enough not to mind too much about the sizing, the important is rather in the ratio : he didn't go for 4x or 5x, he "only" made 3x which is clearly acceptable as a ratio (when we aren't commited) and not displaying too much information in itself.

I didn't say I would necessarily fold here. I said it is important to also consider the bet sizes and how those affect our range and villains range :)
Normally KQo is kind of the bottom of my calling range vs 3bet. KJo I would already 4bet bluff. If you are calling KJo and KTo, it might not be bad, but my ranges are just constructed differently :)

I don't know for you, but me the limits I play and the room I play most of the time it works. That's just that population cbet too much.

Other line that works very good for me in single raised pot, when I defend blind for example. I x/c flop, then turn is check check, and here also most of the time I get them to fold river with a small 40 per cent bet.

I thought its a spew. BUt if it works as exploit, then ok maybe. Just need to make sure it really works :) (filter results where you call with air and bluff)

Yea that might work vs guys who cbet way too much but as long as we don't have that info I would say floating 100% range will cost us money.
