HU hyper turbo huge downswing

That’s indeed a lot, but lucky for you that you are still are profitable with it.
Hyper HU SNG’s are variance heavy. So I don’t think it’s too weird on only 5k games to have a downswing like this.

YES!

I don´t know how many times I busted with AA and KK, lost with sets against runner-runner st8s and flushes, lost with the nut flush against a runner runner full house, lost with a full house, the river brought villain the better fh or I was just completely card-dead and at least I had to push with some bad or marginal stuff as long as I had fold equity and then ...... ran into a premium hand! Or I finally got QQ or KK ....and jammed (as shorty) into AA. I don´t know how many times I jammed with my pair into a higher pair, lost almost every coinflip, lost against 2- and 3 outers, etc.

This happens. Hypers are very swingy!

Here´s what I did: I critically analyzed my hands, looking for -EV pushes/folds/calls. You have to be very careful not to play worse during a loosing streak. It can be very frustrating and influences your play. Besides my very unlucky hands I found a couple of bad pushes/calls.

Be honest to yourself: If you start feeling angry or frustrated, just stop playing, take a break, look at your hands, analyze them, write down your misplayed hands. But against bad luck you can´t do anything. You have to accept it. Hypers are really very heavy in variance! You have to takes this into account in your bankroll management. It has to be WAY tighter than in turbos or regulars.

lets say it like this, your ev roi is less then 3% what makes the swings alot bigger then it would be something around 5%+. i put your numbers in swongsim and it tells me that a swing like yours happens in 1 out of 20 cases means in 5% of the cases. so you are quite unlucky but it happens more often then alot of players think.:f_thumbsup: so keep grinding and improving and the results will come really soon
