HUDS

You can find a lot more of good HUD/statistics videos by going to our video section and searching for "hud". Unfortunately almost all of them are silver or higher so you can't view them right now

I think most of the regs are using HUDs and it definitely gives you a small edge if you know how to use it properly. However there are a lot of guys too that don't use one and I don't think it is necessary to crush micro stakes. I think the biggest benefit of software like HM2 is that it lets you analyse and improve your game better. You can filter for different spots where you are losing money and can fix those leaks.

So to answer your questions: you don't necessarily need one, but if you have the money and want to improve your game and go up the stakes fast, I think it is a good investment.

You can read articles on holdem manager site. There are good tutorials for begginers to learn using HUD.

I really want to thank you for taking the time as a moderator to answer my question. I took advantage of a free offer from you folks and found I really enjoy the challenge of the game but before I jump in with both feet I am taking the time to learn what I can to have a reasonable chance of no losing my ass in a couple of sessions,if you have the time I would really appreciate any advice you care to offer.THANKS AGAIN and HAPPY NEW YEAR
