Cbet flop is close - okay it is a dry board so you can exploit guys who fold too much by cbetting 100% of range here.

Cbet turn is not so good imo. At least not without more equity than this.

Cbet river is better now than the turn was imo. At least he can fold busted FD (that beats you) but then he might have jammed some of those on flop. You can have AA/AK and they are less likely for him etc. Close decision.

Notice if you do 3 barrel you are basically 3 barrelling 100% of bluffs which is exploitable.

Oh, that's a good point about the turn bet, should check that I have some equity before betting, but on the other hand, the turn card doesn't really help villain alot here or what do you think?

Well... Let's say his flop calling range is Kx and 88-TT and some flush draws (maybe he has 87 and JJ too).

We can get some folds from 88-TT by betting turn but there are not that many combos of those especially as we have T9.

Kx and FD probably do not fold.

I just would like to have some equity here as I think he is going to call rather a lot.

Preflop we are both a bit deep so we can call.
I like the flop cbet but we should stop investing there.
Give up on turn and river.

I would call this pre and start 3bet bluffing a bit weaker suited connectors, but I guess 3betting this is not very bad.
I don't like the flop cbet. You have total air and cbetting here would be purely exploitative move and you didn't tell that you know villain is folding way too much, so because your bluff was called pre I prefer to give up with air OTF.
As played that turn bet is not good.

Not betting on flop with total air on a board that hits us is not a good idea.

Well that is debatable. If we bet total air, some draws and all of the hits we are suddenly cbetting way too much. That is of course fine if villain is folding too much but nowadays I don't think ppl are folding always too much anymore. We bluffed preflop and that was fine, but I don't like continuing with 0 equity. If villain happens to be a good player we are probably giving too much money to his good hands by cbetting too much here.

Ps. While SB will 3bet wider with Kx hands, CO will call with better Kx hands. You can put the two ranges in equilab. I don't think SB will have a big range advantage on this flop. I made a mix of the ranges I use and what Snowie would recommend and Equilab says the ranges are quite 50/50 on this flop.

I will shortly disagree with you.
If you are not cbetting wide on good boards, then you are missing value.
Plus this is one and done. Why do you bluff preflop then...

Cbetting 100% here is probably ok against some guys but I would say against good players it is a suicide. Vs a villain who defends even semi decently against our cbet we are burning money.

I can't say that I'm 100% correct but imo this hand is a pretty good example of what can happen. Hero cbets with air because "the board hits us better" and eventually ends up making mistakes.

Taking risks is part of the game. And when you cbet you should be aware where to stop.

I really dont like to 3 barrel with just air. I give up on the river also.

Actually, if I would play this hand again today, I wouldn't cbet here. I would just check-fold today because I have no strong draws.
Thank you.

If you play this hand today - just call preflop.

I think 3betting or calling are both ok preflop, it would depend somewhat on who the bb is. I'm happy to just give up on the flop though here . If we had a spade on the flop cbetting becomes much more desirable.

The fact that we're 140bb deep makes cbetting super wide even better cos he's gonna have wider range.
Once called I just give up ott unimproved.

We are 136.5bb deep effectively and that is not very much. Villain shouldn't have significantly wider calling range pre flop because of this. And if he does, he should be defending against our cbet more. If he flats more pre and still plays fit or fold OTF he is leaking a lot of money.

I think 3bet pre is fine, I would bet flop too but not turn.

Three-betting preflop is a mistake in the first place. You are too deep for that. He should and will call very wide. You then end up OOP with a hand that needs a good flop, otherwise you end up bluffing. Nothing wrong with that, but it is what will mostly happen - too often. You miss, and you barrel. And this is because you are deep, not because I absolutely hate 3-betting. If you bluff 3-bet deep, do it IP.

As played, the 2-barrel is the worst option. Give up, bet once or keep barreling. Opponents tendencies should decide for you. Against good player, just give up. You are too deep to get many folds, you'll get floats. (This works in reverse IP.)
