Hero (BTN): 100 BB
SB: 85.12 BB (VPIP: 23.81, PFR: 4.76, 3Bet Preflop: 5.88, Hands: 43)
BB: 100 BB (VPIP: 21.39, PFR: 9.95, 3Bet Preflop: 2.30, Hands: 204)
UTG: 132.84 BB (VPIP: 38.89, PFR: 27.78, 3Bet Preflop: 18.18, Hands: 20)
MP: 108.06 BB (VPIP: 22.22, PFR: 17.55, 3Bet Preflop: 5.81, Hands: 638)
CO: 44.38 BB (VPIP: 34.09, PFR: 11.36, 3Bet Preflop: 4.76, Hands: 89)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8♥ 8♠

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 2 BB, fold, BB raises to 8.5 BB, Hero calls 6.5 BB

Flop: (17.5 BB, 2 players) K♠ 4♠ 7♦
BB bets 9.32 BB, Hero calls 9.32 BB

Turn: (36.14 BB, 2 players) T♣
BB bets 26.16 BB, fold

I marked Villain as a fish. But I think calling preflop to hit our set is reasonable.
But then, I have difficulties continuing when one overcard lays on the board. Not sure if it's necessarily smart to continue. I feel like I'm getting barreled off of my hand way too often.

What's your plan with medium pairs on Kxx,Qxx, and Jxx Textures?

i play the same way mostly but i definitely feel you can fold flop against this guy. he raises tight and hits this board pretty much all the time

Pre it is okay to setmine.
OTF I normally call 88+ once even if there is an overcard because ppl are often just cbetting with trash and you have to defend with a decent part of your range. But this guy seems like he is tight preflop. Against this guy you could consider folding already OTF.

Seems fine vs. this sizing. The turn is kind of a bad spot because he can easily semi bluff stuff like AQ/AJ but there's not a ton you can do about it.

Preflop is ok.
Flop is ok to call. He can still cbet with worse. If you fold here, you are overfolding.
Turn fold is ok.
