Well, sets (99) should raise you earlier. JT is the scariest.... QQ is possible...
Call and make a note...

I don't see villain raising here as a bluff. Too many value hands possible but on the other hand there are not many bluffs villain can represent (AQs, TT, JJ). All other hands would have folded or re-reaised you preflop I think.

Very ugly spot. I don't fault you for folding, but this is pretty high in our range (we have KK/QQ as better hands). There aren't many logical bluffs at this point; the only thing I could think of from a competent villain is maybe TT. All in all, I think it's a tough call OTR.

From all the hands he could have only 3 beat you KK, QQ, JT. JT will most of the time fold on flop. KK and QQ are even more unlikely cause of ur hand and the board so never fold for the 1 time you lose here you will win 10 times. Just my 2 cents

You maybe could bet small OTT.
OTR I don't see villain checking with value hands after we check the turn but still these lines are usually very strong. He could be valueraising with a weaker hand like K9. I would call.

I think I'd call - given the fact that you checked turn - how can he expect an opportunity to check raise for value?
I'd be intersted to know his had mind - he might have overplayed a weaker two pair and didn't think it through properly?

People don't check-raise bluff river every day. You split with his absolutely worst value hand. I don't rule out sets. They may have tried to check-raise turn. When you check back they might decide you are weak and try to induce a bluff instead of betting.

Close.
