Am I biased by the results when I doubt my play in this spot? Important to notice that my opponents are no regulars but two donkeys which are unknown just like the extent of their nasti- und braindeadness.
Preflop action is standard.
After the first donkey checks on the flop the second donkey jams his chips in. Of course the mule has a lot of Jx in its range, however, since it is a paired board, it becomes less likely that it really has the jack that often. I think it would make the same play with A7, K7, Q7, J7, T7, 87, 77 and 76 and sometimes with complete air. Of course I am not calling the small stacked donkey with the intention to fold after an all-in by the full-stacked donkey so I simply close the action on the flop.
Would you believe it? The donkey in the SB cold-called the preflop 3-bet (1/5) of its stack in order to setmine. And obviously it got rewarded. I was so disgusted when I saw this that I had to stop playing for a while.
I am now beginning to think that it is only because of tilt that I am doubting my play in this spot, however a short confirmfation that my play was standard (given my opponents were donkeys) would be nice. Or of course any other opinion would be just as fine.
Cheers.
