At the lower level these games seem like 30 minutes (or whatever rebuy time allowed) of nothing but all in with anything. Can you actually play without rebuying and having a chance to get to the money? I've seen players rebuy so often and then with the addon unless they finish in top 3 would still lose money. The house has to love these games as it seems they are the real big winners

I think you can off course reach ITM without making rebuys and an add-on, but if you have no intention to this it’s better to play normal freeze out tournaments. It’s on long run better to make rebuys and the add-on to have better changes to get further in to the tournament.

I expect this helps a little bit, but if you have more questions don’t hesitate to ask them.

Normal speed rebuys shouldn't be about allin or fold all the time. Loads of rebuys though are splash rebuys which are like 3x the speed of a normal turbo. What I usually do in these games is max latereg for the minimum, try to get to the 30k addon as cheap as possible and go from there for like 10bb's. Usually I'd always say play for the maximum so max rebuy and addon but since most sites rake the rebuys, it becomes a more difficult calculation to make whether max rebuy are good or not.
But I know loads of ppl who play rebuy tournaments without rebuying once and they can also be succesful. Think about this: to win a tournament you need to win like 1 000 000 chips (random example). You get a 3k starting stack and you can rebuy for another 3k, thats tiny in comparison of what you have to win to win the tournament. So about an hour after the rebuys, your 3k starting stack isn't worth all that much anymore.

That’s always nice. How ended your tournament in the end?
