Against a reg, I would have been happy to snap him off with ATs in this spot of course. Unfortunately MP2 is a loose-passive donkey with 35/6 stats over 136 hands...

According to Nash I am supposed to call here with A5s+, A8o+... However that loose-passive donkey will certainly never push hands like K6s or 87s...

Due to its stats, I expect the donkey to limp with all its junk aces and broadways hands and only push a premium range here... Therefore, I decided to fold ATs, but I really hated it...

Do you think my fold was too tight?

Against a loose passive player, I wouldn’t mind the fold without antes in play for 10bb effective. I expect you will be behind most of the time against a pushing range, but even then, ATs is a tough hand to fold I think.

We are playing against population tendencies. When facing such a decision, I always try to estimate how much worse hands he would shove. I think that with 10bb, villain will shove a lot of worse Ax. I also think broadways are in that range, and to top it off I think a lot of pp will be played like this (where we only really hate AA).

I think we have enough equity w AT and the suitedness adds an extra 2 or 3% to it. So I'd snap.
